Our 2027 Caravan Travel Plans

It might feel like 2027 is still a little way off, but we’re already starting to put our caravan travels together.

Some trips are booked and some destinations have been decided. There are also still a few gaps waiting to be filled.

That’s part of the fun though. We don’t necessarily want every weekend and trip planned months in advance. There’s still plenty of room for new campsites and a few last-minute ideas along the way.

From winter weekends in the UK to our main summer adventure in Spain, 2027 is already looking like another busy year.

Here’s what our 2027 caravan travel plans are looking like so far.

December 2026 / January 2027 – Delph Bank Touring Park

26 December – 3 January

We’re starting 2027 exactly how we like to — away in the caravan.

We’ll be spending the period between Christmas and New Year at Delph Bank Touring Park. Our stay will take us right through to 3 January.

We’ve visited Delph Bank before and it earned a place in the Caravan Adventuring Hall of Fame. We’re more than happy to be heading back.

It should be a great way to see out 2026 and begin another year of caravan adventures.

January – Lady Heyes Glamping, Touring and Camping

29 January – 1 February

At the end of January, we’re heading to Lady Heyes Glamping, Touring and Camping.

A winter caravan trip can be very different from touring during the warmer months, but that’s never stopped us.

Get the heating on, wrap up when we head outside and enjoy being away.

This will be our first completely new destination of 2027. We’re looking forward to seeing what the site is like and exploring the surrounding area.

February / March – Brighton Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

26 February – 1 March

Next up is a trip to the south coast and Brighton Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite.

Brighton gives us plenty to explore while we’re there. We’re also looking forward to seeing what the campsite itself is like.

As always, we’ll be sharing our experience during our stay. We’ll show you our pitch and have a proper look around the campsite.

March – Somers Wood Caravan Park

26–29 March

At the end of March, we’ll be staying at Somers Wood Caravan Park.

It’s another campsite we’re looking forward to experiencing for ourselves. It’s also another completely new addition to our travels.

By this point, we’ll hopefully be starting to see the first proper signs of spring.

Although, knowing the British weather, we’re making absolutely no promises!

April / May – Destination To Be Decided

30 April – 3 May

We’ve deliberately left the early May Bank Holiday open for now.

There are plenty of campsites we’d like to visit. Rather than booking somewhere just to fill the calendar, we’re going to wait until somewhere catches our eye.

Whether we discover somewhere completely new or decide to revisit a favourite remains to be seen.

May – Clumber Park Club Campsite

28–31 May

Our late May Bank Holiday trip is now booked. We’ll be heading to Clumber Park Club Campsite in Nottinghamshire.

The campsite sits within the beautiful Clumber Park estate. That gives us thousands of acres of parkland to explore during our stay.

There are walking and cycling routes accessible from the site. We’re looking forward to exploring the area and having a proper look around the campsite itself.

With Clumber Park now confirmed, another gap in our 2027 travel calendar is officially filled.

June – Back of Beyond Touring, Camping and Glamping Park

25–28 June

June sees us heading to Back of Beyond Touring, Camping and Glamping Park.

This is another campsite we’re looking forward to experiencing. It also takes us nicely into the summer touring season.

But this won’t be our only trip during June.

During the summer months, we want to make more use of the longer days. We’re therefore planning to add another long weekend away in June.

We haven’t decided where that one will be yet. That means there’s another campsite still to join our 2027 plans.

July – Two Long Weekends Away

We haven’t booked our July destinations yet. However, we’re planning to fit in two long weekends away during the month.

That gives us the opportunity to discover a couple of new campsites. We might revisit somewhere we’ve particularly enjoyed, or perhaps do a bit of both.

Our biggest trip of the year is coming up in August. These two weekends should give us a couple of shorter adventures before we start preparing for Spain.

August / September – Cypsela Resort, Pals, Spain

12 August – 1 September

This is the big one.

In August, we’ll be hitching up and heading across the Channel again for another European caravan adventure.

This time, we’re going back to Cypsela Resort in Pals, Spain.

After our stay at Cypsela Resort in 2026, we’ve decided to return for our main summer trip in 2027. We’ll be spending almost three weeks back on the Costa Brava.

We’re really looking forward to getting back on the road. We’ll travel through France and cross into Spain before returning to an area we already know and enjoy.

We visited Pals and explored some of the surrounding area during our 2026 trip. However, there’s still plenty we’d like to see and do.

Returning gives us another chance to enjoy the resort and revisit some of our favourite places. We’ll also have more time to discover other parts of the Costa Brava.

After everything that happened during our 2026 European trip, we’re hoping this journey will be considerably less eventful!

There will be plenty more to share as we plan the route and our overnight stops. We’ll also be planning what we want to see during our return to Cypsela Resort in August 2027.

October – To Be Decided

Nothing is booked for October yet.

An autumn trip is definitely a possibility. Where we end up will depend on what takes our fancy as the year progresses.

There are plenty of places on our ever-growing list. We don’t think finding somewhere will be too difficult!

November – To Be Decided

November is another blank space at the moment.

We enjoy using the caravan throughout the year, so we’re certainly not ruling out a late-autumn getaway.

It may be another chance to discover somewhere new. Alternatively, the colder weather could tempt us back to one of our favourite sites.

December 2027 / January 2028 – To Be Decided

Then we’ll be back where this list started — deciding where to spend Christmas and New Year.

We haven’t chosen our destination for the end of 2027 yet. After beginning the year at Delph Bank, we’ll have to find somewhere capable of giving it a run for its money.

Our 2027 Caravan Travel Plans So Far

As things currently stand, we already have a good mixture of confirmed trips and spaces waiting to be filled.

We’ll start the year at Delph Bank. Lady Heyes, Brighton, Somers Wood, Clumber Park and Back of Beyond will follow during the first half of the year.

We’re also planning an extra long weekend in June and two more during July.

Then we’ll set off on our main summer adventure from 12 August to 1 September. We’ll travel through France and into Spain for our return to Cypsela Resort in Pals.

October and November remain open. We also still need to choose somewhere for the early May Bank Holiday.

Our Christmas and New Year destination for the end of 2027 is still to be decided too.

That’s quite a few nights away already — and we’re definitely not finished yet.

Where are we caravanning in 2027?

Are all of our 2027 caravan trips booked?

No. We still need to decide where we’re heading from 30 April to 3 May.

We’re also planning another long weekend in June and two long weekends during July. Possible trips during October and November are still to be decided.

Our Christmas 2027 and New Year 2028 destination is also still open.

When are we visiting Clumber Park Club Campsite?

We’re booked to stay at Clumber Park Club Campsite from 28 to 31 May 2027. That’s the late May Bank Holiday weekend.

Are we taking the caravan abroad in 2027?

Yes. We’ll be heading back to Europe from 12 August to 1 September 2027.

We’ll travel through France and into Spain for another stay at Cypsela Resort in Pals. After visiting Cypsela in 2026, we’ve decided to return for our main summer trip in 2027.

Will we be adding more caravan trips during summer 2027?

Yes. Back of Beyond is already booked for the end of June.

We’re also planning another long weekend during June and two long weekends during July. These will take place before we set off for Spain in August.

That’s the plan.

We’ll share our experiences from the trips, including our pitches, campsite facilities and places we visit along the way.

Final Thoughts

Our 2027 caravan calendar is already taking shape, but it’s definitely not the finished version.

We’ve got winter trips, spring weekends and summer adventures already planned. Several completely new campsites are on the calendar too, along with a return to one of our favourites.

Clumber Park Club Campsite is now booked for the late May Bank Holiday. That leaves just the early May Bank Holiday to fill during that part of the year.

Then there’s the big one — our summer trip to Spain.

We’ll be travelling through France before heading to Cypsela Resort in Pals for almost three weeks. After our 2026 stay, we knew we wanted to return and explore more of the Costa Brava.

This time, we already know where we’re heading. That means we can concentrate on planning the journey, our overnight stops and what we want to do while we’re there.

There are still plenty of gaps to fill in the calendar. We’re planning another June weekend and two July weekends, with possible trips during October and November too.

That should give us plenty of new campsites, pitches and adventures to share throughout 2027.

And knowing us, there will probably be a few changes and unexpected trips along the way too.
